1) LUCA PIOVESAN
“Aquae Sonantes”
“Aquae sonantes” is a sonic exploration of the relationship between the natural rhythms of the aquatic world and the mechanical pulse of the machineries that humanity has created to harness and exploit it. At its core, it evolves into a meditation and homage to water itself and its ecosystem. You are invited to move freely through the space and engage in a personal, relational, and ecological listening experience.
Luca Piovesan is a Brussels-based, Italian-born contemporary accordion player, sound practitioner, producer, and researcher with interest in participatory art practices, working at the intersections of art, social engagement, and climate justice. He expanded the possibilities of his accordion through a system of pedalboards, electronics, and field recordings, creating a magmatic instrument named “Poliarmonica”. Through it, he researches collaborative processes with composers, artists, and communities.
